Alejandro Fernandez-Veraud's furniture and accessories reflect the values and ideals that he's striving for in life. His pieces are contemporary and elegant. They are an extension of his search for a meaningful life, and he tries to give each piece a uniqueness and significance. He also makes each piece a personal statement in which he tries to bridge fine and decorative arts.

Fernandez-Veraud begins each piece with a blank mind. He lets his imagination run free and lets his mind guide his hand to make sketches. He then plays with the form, making sometimes hundreds of sketches for a single item. He considers his design process as a dialogue between his mind and his soul, where he refines and refines the idea taking care of every little detail.

The designer has had a life-long fascination for texture, color and materials like wood, glass, fibers, paint and metals. This fascination leads him down many different creative paths and gives him continuous momentum for innovation and exploration. He works in his studio located in Miami, Florida.
