Arlena Losciuto was trained at Pratt Institute in New York, the Academie de la Grande Chaumiere in Paris, and the Europaische Akademie fur Kunst in Trier.

Her work reflects the power and wild imagination of her free spirit. Rampant with color and themes of psychological moods and fantasies, her paintings, pastels, pen and pencil drawings are alive with movement and thought-provoking concepts.

Arlena is an imaginative dramatist and uses her theatrical talents in her artwork to devise seemingly endless and strongly vivid graphic productions. She was born in New York and has lived in Luxembourg, France, and Africa for thirty-five years, but now calls North Carolina her home.
