Julie Wiggins

I am inspired by histories of environmental and architectural settings, along with the repetition and gestural quality of a line. The opportunity to study traditional Chinese ceramic techniques abroad has enhanced my creativity as a ceramic artist and continues to push my work into new directions that combine Eastern and Western influences. I intend for the user to find evidence of my processes of working the clay in my wares.
