Artist's Statement
The processes we use are somewhat inspired by pre-Industrial methods. We elaborate the concept of bi-dimensional cuts that, with creases and folds, become three-dimensional objects. Our influences come mainly from painters and sculptors of the pre-WWII period, including Miro, Picasso, Calder, Moholy-Nagy, the Constructivist School sculptures and origami. We re also influenced by contemporary electronic music and 1950-60 s pop designs.
