Artist's Statement
I was born and raised in South Florida, but now call North Carolina my home. My family heritage is the main influence in my jewelry. My father immigrated from Venezuela and my mother from Israel. We also traveled around the US for a few years which exposed me to the different cultures throughout this great country. Each piece is a reflection of my culture and how I explore different techniques and materials. I am fascinated with the ways in which people adorn themselves. Creating wearable art using materials from anywhere and everywhere lets me connect with people from all over the world.
