Don Grubbs

Don is a native of Charlotte who has been interested in North Carolina's gems and minerals all his life, but his first artistic endeavors were as a sculptor. With jewelry, Don found a way to marry his talent as a sculptor with his love of stones. The results are his unique creations: tiny silver sculptures you can wear.

Don, together with his partner Carey Holman, are Lucky Dog Studios, named for the various pound puppies and strays that have found their way into Carey's home.
