Artist Statement
I love doing painting, sculpture, and pottery but jewelry has always been the core of the many things I have found fascinating to be involved in. Jewelry making has developed from a singular doing on my part to a group thing, where a lot of wonderful, supportive, and inventive people are involved. This makes it more than an individual's vision - it creates, hopefully, a kind of special interactive society, where people have a good time doing what they enjoy while supporting and teaching each other.

What's really important is creativity - whether it's in painting, working with clay or jewelry. You must look around and look with open eyes - not knowing what to expect and not trying to expect anything, but just trying to feel what is happening. It can lead to unbelievable places that you did not know were a part of you. Yet, somehow it seems to be an integral part of your being
