Joe Luther is a wood turner, a writer and teller of stories, a once-upon-a-time painter of pictures, a psychotherapist, and a United Methodist Minister. He specializes in making high-quality writing instruments, and he also makes a few bowls. He grew up on a farm on the banks of the Uwharrie River in Randolph County, NC. He holds degrees from High Point, Emory, and Wake Forest Universities. Joe and his wife live in Mt. Pleasant, NC.
