In 1976, at 13 years old, I started working with a close friend in the construction industry. We cut and fit marble window sills, marble entries, and stairways. Later in life, I took to the metal side of the roofing industry which has led to a successful business. In the mid 80's I started mixing copper and brass in certain designs for the broader spectrum of colors desired by my clientele. Soon my artwork was taken over by my fast-growing roofing business. I never make two pieces the same and I always try new techniques while achieving new, more dramatic colors.
