J D Schall

A professional potter for over 10 years, I am dedicated to bringing the best in modern design to the home. All pieces are designed, wheel thrown and custom glazed by J-D in his home studio. Many pieces require multiple thrown sections that are assembled by hand. Each stoneware piece is bisque fired, glazed by hand, and fired to 2200 degrees. Some pieces are fired multiple times to achieve the desired effect. The process ensures that each finished piece is unique and bears evidence of the artist. Since all pieces are individually handcrafted, custom shapes, sizes and colors are a specialty.
