I enjoy painting the things around me, such as found objects, antiques, architectural subjects and landscapes. Anything and everything I see has a chance of ending up in one of my works. Whenever possible, I like to work from life because you form a visual and physical bond with the subject.

I enjoy the challenge of realism and I pay close attention to the details of color and texture. Emotion becomes an integral tool for my realistic style, as the artist becomes an imperfect camera without definite feelings about the objects he is portraying.
