North Carolina artist Kerri Burns creates this unique, fun, feel-good stemware in her studio on Lake Norman. Every piece contains glass beads purchased from third world villages, and directly benefits the artisans & families living in these communities through a fair trade facilitator. Income generated for these artisans helps pay for food, education, health care and housing. Benefits to the women and children in these villages are of particular interest to the artist. Each piece is individually hand-beaded using only copper wire to ensure longevity & the beautiful patina that only time can create.
