Currently our work is inspired by cabinets of curiosity dating from Renaissance Europe, the Victorian obsession with nature, and the art of collecting and displaying ones' passions.

I believe that some objects can carry a personal history for a family over the years. I hope that I can make art that someone can buy to be handed down the family line. Something bought on a whim could become the platter for the turkey or could sit on the family room mantel.

One day in the future, someone might say, "Crazy old Uncle Larry bought that peculiar spider platter somewhere, and we just can't seem to part with it." I would like to be a part of that.
