Meghan Runkle has been working with clay for about five years. Rare Earth Studio is based out of her home in Asheville, NC. All of her pottery is dishwasher and microwave safe. The glazes made at Rare Earth are also completely non-toxic and safe for everyday use.

Artist's Statement
"My main concern when designing and producing pottery is function, closely followed by form and surface. I want each piece to relay an invitation for use. Ceramics is an intimate art form, it is made to be touched and used daily by the owner in both everyday activities as well as special occasions. I hope that one of these pieces can find a special place in your life."
