My interest in clay began when I worked in New York in a design field involving tile projects. In 1992 I moved my small children and myself to central Virginia and became a stay at home Mom. It was then that I began to experiment with clay, starting with tiles and expanding to functional ceramics. The dimensional design is my creative signature and was inspired by my architectural design education.
