Que Evon

My work is founded in a love for medieval architecture and metalwork. I am intrigued with the power of the symbols associated with the genre and enjoy combining these symbols with the delicate contrast and natural beauty of pearls. In my most recent explorations, I have expanded my use of semi-precious stones for an additional richness of texture and color. The "knobby" granulated look on several of my carved pieces is achieved by the time consuming process of pressing cupcake sprinkles into the wax before casting! All the work is completed in my studio.
