On April 15, 1991, I was given a one-of-a-kind journal for my birthday which was hand-made by my future wife and business partner, Ilira Steinman. It was the gift of this book and a keen interest in the art and craft of bookbinding which launched Rag & Bone Bindery. For fifteen years we have been creating books in our Rhode Island bookbinding studio and we still make every book by hand. We hope our attention to detail and our love for the art of papermaking, bookbinding and book arts show in every album we make. There's no comparison to holding a hand-bound book in your hands and we hope you enjoy using our books as much as we enjoy making them.
