One Friday afternoon in late 1993, Ken Russell, and aerospace engineer walked into his boss' office and said, "Monday's my last day." Armed with four thousand dollars, two credit cards and no other source of income, he also left his position as a reservist helicopter pilot in a Navy special operations squadron.

With his wife and two boys, he headed for the Great Northern Plains of South Dakota and they never looked back. Seven years later, they moved to another beautiful place in Missouri, right on the banks of the Mississippi River.

Away from the mayhem and former hurried life, they are now pursuing their dreams of creating beautiful and unique pottery that fulfills a sense of honesty and delight. Their hope is that everyone may enjoy their pottery as much as they enjoyed creating it.
