I had been working with clay for more than a decade when I became interested in the amazing qualities of glass. I began imagining how clay and glass could collaborate together in a beautiful way.

My desire was realized when I saw the first Gemstone Nebula after a year of experimentation. I feel very fortunate for the discovery of the Gemstone Nebula process and since that first day, I have been refining the process to create a wider spectrum and deeper richness of color.

It is very exciting to have them so well appreciated by so many people throughout the world and gives me great pleasure to have them be used in many creative ways.
