In the 90s Lee realized that she could leave the corporate world behind and devote herself to her passion for making pots. So she spent two years searching for property and designing a house and studio. In 1996, Lee established Silver Ridge Pottery on a ten-acre mountainside in the small community of Pulltight, Tennessee. She now produces fine porcelain vessels that can be seen at galleries, gift shops, art fairs and private collections all over the world.
