The well-made object is the product of a mind interested in doing justice to the medium, and in pushing the material beyond its obvious limits. If, in doing this, the piece is given a life and uniqueness reflecting some aspect of the inner workings of the maker, then I feel the resulting object was a worthwhile endeavor. MADE is the collaboration of Tess Doran & David Jones. The work pays repsect to the art revolution in Europe and Ameica at the beginning of the 20th century when traditional views to the approach of art were being questioned through all media.
