The Hippie Kitchen was started on the basis of producing fresh baked good products using organic, local and as much farm fresh ingredients as possible. Due to the rapid increase of people suffering from a variety of food allergies, The Hippie Kitchen has seen a rise in the request for gluten free baked goods. The Hippie Kitchen has created a full menu of gluten free products, that still meet our mission of providing fresh and delicious baked goods while using organic and locally sourced ingredients. I was raised in a real hippie kitchen on an organic farm in the hills of Oregon. All the food we ate came from my mom’s garden, so organic food is in my blood. My company is a tribute to my mom and those memories of her hippie kitchen. Our beliefs are simple; produce organic and delicious food from local farms in a sustainable manner that helps people and the environment.
