When I learned to throw pots on the wheel it was like magic and endlessly intriguing.

But it was finding clay on our own land in Wayne that changed my life. From the moment of discovery of this gift from the earth, I knew that making pots was my life's work.

I love decorating pots with what I see around me- brave chickadees, black and white patterns of loons, the curve of a heron's neck, cheerful blueberries and my beloved cats.

My hope is that you enjoy this pottery as much as I enjoy making it.
