Christmas in Davidson - November 31 - December 2

"Circle of Eight" - November 10 - December 3
Join us as we welcome "Circle of Eight", a group show featuring eight Charlotte-area potters. HomeARama 2006 - May 20-June 11
The Charlotte Home Builders Association will be presenting its 2006 HomeArama at The Sanctuary on Lake Wylie. Wooden Stone has partnered with the designers from Homestyles and Dienst Custom Homes, who will be showcasing work by some of our artists in their beautiful 10,000 sq. ft. home. NICHE award nominations

NICHE magazine, the exclusive trade publication for retailers of fine American craft, will announce the winners at a ceremony on Friday, July 21, 2006 during the Philadelphia Buyers Market of American Craft at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

Photo Wild! Exhibit and Gala - May 6, 2006
The Carolina Raptor Center will hold its annual Photo Wild! gala and photo exhibit at Wooden Stone on May 6, 6-9 pm. Over 150 framed photographs of birds of prey will be on display at the event, and will be sold in a silent auction to benefit the Raptor Center. Refreshments will include beer, wine, and hors d'oeuvres. Tickets are $15, and will be sold at the door, or for reservations, please call Rhea Kelley at the Carolina Raptor Center at 704-875-6521, ext. 101.

Design Saturdays
On April 29, Wooden Stone will begin a series of Design Saturdays with Miters Touch owner/designer Denise Grohs, to be held on the last Saturday of each month. Denise will be available during business hours (10 am - 6 pm) by appointment or walk in to discuss design projects with clients and answer questions about custom cabinetry and furniture. Dottie Moore - February 10-12, 2006
Rock Hill, SC artist Dottie Moore quilts one-of-a kind contemplative fabric creations that reveal her passion for the power of the creative process for transforming lives. Shes is the founder of "Piecing a Quilt of Life", an international project
dedicated to empowering senior women by recognizing their creative abilities. She will be showing a collection of her larger works at Wooden Stone through March 7.
