ARTIST STATEMENT

As a metalsmith, Deborah fabricates her jewelry using the techniques of forging, raising, peening, milling and soldering. She works with sterling silver, 14 karat gold, gold filled wire and sheet. She has always been drawn to the curved, organic forms of nature. Her themes include leaves, floral, shells, orbits and linear abstractions.
