Since the early 1970’s, John and Linda have been using traditional methods of metalsmithing to present their own interpretations of objects of adornment. Time-honored techniques are used to reveal the desired personality of each piece. John’s love of the form and expression of the figure is displayed in his fanciful metalwork of dancers and musicians that delight the eye in earrings, pins and necklaces. Linda uses multi-textured metals, polymer clay, stones and beads to build a landscape of polychromatic constructionist wearable art. Each piece is individually fabricated from a combination of brass, copper, nickel silver and finished with heat patinas. Polymer clay and a variety of stones and beads embellish the work and give color to the pieces.
