ARTIST STATEMENT

Andy Brinkley is a renowned metal sculptor who has worked in metals for over three decades. Initially a blacksmith, Andy began to use various metals and came to specialize in brass and copper. He started by working out of a small basement shop. Today his studio is situated on ten acres of woodland nestled in the Appalachian foothills of North Carolina. Andy’s work is as varied as the imagination will allow, from small whimsical garden creatures to fountains to distinctive wall sculpture. Each of his creations reflects his love of the natural world.
