ARTIST STATEMENT

Bonnie Bond and John Caraberis have been designing and crafting pewter for over 30 years. All of their pewter is handcrafted in their seaside studio in Pugwash, Nova Scotia, Canada, a small village known for its heritage of pewtersmithing. They design and create products that touch the heart and delight the spirit, including jewelry, pet items, and giftware. Bonnie and John contribute 10% of their profits to philanthropic projects. Basic Spirit’s pieces are made to give you and your loved ones a bit of whimsy and freshness.
