In 1971 after visiting his wife’s family in Somerset, England, Ian Eddy was inspired to spend his life making a living in the art of blacksmithing. Ian uses many of the same tools that his wife’s grandfather used. He and his wife run a small forge dedicated to producing ironwork of the highest quality. Their hand wrought ironwork is designed to be attractive and delicate in concept yet practical in function. Each hand wrought iron piece is heated, shaped and hammered individually, with traditional hammer and tongs which assures that each item is unique and that no two are exactly alike.
