Ted Easler has been painting for over 50 years. He was trained formally as a commercial artist during his early years. His evolution as a painter, however, has been largely self-taught. His career has included past memberships in the La Jolla Art Association and the San Diego Art Museum, as well as exhibits at numerous locations in Massachusetts and North Carolina.

Most of Ted’s work focuses on hard edge cubist subjects. They attempt to suggest pictures within pictures. Although his main focus has been on abstract, he continues to paint traditional subjects as well. He believes that his gift is to allow the viewer to see the subject matter in a way that touches them with feeling and deep insight. More of his work may be seen at
