Amy first began creating pottery while attending Berea College in 1987. She opened her business, Clay House Pots, in 1998. She creates functional and decorative pottery. Her work is both wheel thrown and handbuilt. Often she uses several techniques on one piece. All of her glazes used on food service pieces are safe for your culinary creations and also fine for the microwave and dishwasher. She does recommend hand washing for best results.
