Jim and Shirl Parmentier have been making pottery together since 1975. They work on each vessel as a team, both in design and in the forming and shaping. The clay is transformed into a vessel using coils and slabs of clay. Each piece is individually carved with intricate design and pattern. Each piece is glazed with an ash glaze and then
fired in a gas reduction kiln to 2400 degrees.
