ARTIST STATEMENT

The close-knit family of artists, Sam and Sarah Costanzo and Jessica and Junior Jean-Pierre, have been creating functional stoneware for cooking, serving and décor since 1998, and Mosquito Mud was taken over by their family in 2012. “Pottery for us has become a way of life. We work hard in hopes that we may make pots that will quietly transform the quality of life of the people who use them.”
