ARTIST STATEMENT

Charles and Shirley Smith have been creating hand crafted wooden toys for over 25 years. They use poplar wood and accent with other West Virginia hardwoods such as Black Walnut, Cherry, and Oak. The Smith’s take great pride in their work and demand that each piece is safe, is of excellent quality, and reasonably priced for their customers. Their toys allow children to use their imagination and also gives them hours of entertainment.
