ARTIST STATEMENT

Wood has always intrigued me as a hobby, and upon retirement to Cape Cod, Massachusetts in 1979, I began Bog Pond Crafts as a business. Being self-taught, I believe my engineering background has been a great part of my creative endeavors. Using pine, cherry, maple, oak and other hardwoods, I design and create custom furniture which have been shown in several galleries on the Cape. Now that I reside in North Carolina, I have continued my love of wood and my business.
